’67 Classmates,
It’s
that time again! That’s right. It’s time for our 45th Pittsfield High School
Class of ’67 Reunion!
Somehow
it doesn’t seem like 45 years have gone by since those days of the PHS games,
PEP rallies, Lighthouse dances, the Anchor, Kelly’s, cruising North Street,
going over the mountain, (cutting class?, detention?)…etc. We each have our own fond memories of those
times and the people we shared them with.
The
Reunion Team has gotten together again to ensure that PHS WILL HAVE A 45th
REUNION. OUR CLASS has always been
blessed with dedicated classmates who work hard, behind the scenes, to make
these reunions happen every 5 years.
it’s still a labor of love and class spirit that you just don’t see any
more.
So
here’s what we’ve got planned. We’ve
booked the Pittsfield Crowne Plaza http://www.berkshirecrowne.com/(that’s
the old Hilton for you out-of-towners) for September 29, 2012. This will be a cocktails-dinner-dance
evening. As always, we'll try and
arrange for other class activities for that day, and for the weekend, so watch
your email and check our web site at http://www.phs1968.com/1967/
If

database of well over 800 classmates. I
can assure you that in years past, EVERYONE who attended had a great time.
PLEASE
REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ASAP and let us know whether you’re interested in
attending. You may want to include your
current mailing info as well. Also,
PLEASE reach out to other PHS Classmates and ask them to contact us with an
email address in case they didn’t get this message. One last thing, PLEASE REPLY ASAP, even if
you don’t want to, or can’t, attend. I
guarantee that someone at the reunion will miss you.
So
please consider joining those classmates with whom you shared so many memories,
this September 29th, 2012. We’ll keep
you posted about the reunion’s planning and progress.

I hear
that some attendees were displeased that there wasn't enough to do at the last
reunion.
Let me
remind you that there was a show at the Colonial, "BeeHive
- the 60's Musical Sensation", to attend on Friday evening. Gary Curry
gave us a tour of PHS on Saturday AM.
There
was a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at PHS in their theater on
Friday evening also.
If
anyone wants "more to do" this time I invite them to step up and
organize something. The above will not be repeated this time.

Future reunions will rely mostly
(used to be solely, but that is too optimistic!) on email and web site
contacts, so you’ll need to keep in touch with us!
It is an incredible effort
to track down classmates.
If you are interested in
attending future reunions it will be your responsibility to keep in touch with
the committee.
