The
55th Reunion is being planned!
Wednesday,
Sept 13, 2023 - Bousquet Ski Area
A place has been
secured for our 55th Reunion this fall. We will be having it on Wednesday
(changed from previous Thursday date) the 13th of September at the NEW Bousquet
Ski area lodge. Those of you that have not been there lately are in for a big
surprise. Any golfer that would like to participate in a round on Wednesday at
a course yet to be determined, please think about that as well. There may also
be a large number of people that may want to get together for lunch that day or
Thursday. Much more, including the menu, will be sent out this spring. PLEASE
try to make it and notify those that may not be on our FaceBook
page. Many thanks go to Bobby Geller as he is always there to help out our
class and went above and beyond working with the Bousquet staff to get this
done.
There will be a
Golf day and possibly Pickleball! Any Cheerleaders
planning to attend??

New rules:
If you haven't
signed up for the Saturday event at Bousquet, you can show up and pay at the
door. I'd appreciate to know in advance so that I can make a name tag for you
if possible. We needed pre-registration in order to hold this event and don't
want to turn anyone away. Please seek me out and register when you get there!

Similar at
Berkshire Hills on Sunday evening, but only for a few over the pre-registered
number. Let me know in advance who is coming (by Noon on Sunday?), get a check
to me or Robert Geller in Pittsfield (At the PHS tour or at Bousquet) if you
can or pay at the door. Please don't renege on your attendance if you say you
are coming, we are obligated to pay BHCC regardless and the margin over cost
isn't a lot. People arriving without warning may be turned away. I'd like to
have name tags for all attendees! I'll have forms at PHS and Bousquet for
registering.

invitation and need number attending replies and appropriate payments.
1 - Tour of PHS
Saturday: 10AM Donation to PHS suggested $10pp (payable at the event)
2 - Social at
Bousquet Saturday: 5PM $15pp (pay with registration), cash bar, munchies
platters, dance floor. Any musical talent classmates want to perform?
3 - Reunion at
Berkshire Hills Country Club (500 Benedict Road, Pittsfield) Sunday: 5PM
starting, cash bar, buffet dinner at 7PM $55pp (pay with registration).

We have a date,
Saturday Oct 20 and Sunday Oct 21, and we have the start of a local committee.
Nan Bookless and Kathy Frahm Massimiano
with Robert Geller consulting/treasurer. Linda Goodrich and Judi Lazerus will
be tele-commuting for the database and mailings,
reservations.
There are polls on
our Facebook group to determine the menu for the Sunday event.
The cost will be $55 per person including taxes, tip and facilities fees.
Saturday we'll
start off by having a tour of PHS at 10AM and suggest a donation of around
$10pp to go to a PHS organization. Last year it went to the Honor Society. All
good kids!
Usually the tour is by students and should take a bit over an hour.
Respond if you are attending on the registration form so I have a number of
attendees. Last minute show-ups are fine but I'd like to have a headcount in
advance. Donate at the door.
Saturday evening we
are having a "Social Only" reunion at minimal expense. 5PM at
Bousquet. Finger Food platters will be supplied. The Class of 1967 did this
last year at Bousquet and it was a great success. They used the main bar and it
was jam packed, couldn't move. We'll be in the bigger room with plenty of room,
even a dance floor (any classmate musical talent want to perform?)! If you
can't make it Sunday, try for Saturday (If you attend on Saturday you will want
to attend on Sunday also!!).
Cost will be $15 pp. (pay with registration).
Sunday evening is
the Reunion at Berkshire Hills Country Club (500 Benedict Road, Pittsfield)

If you are local
and want to serve on this committee, let us know. If you aren't local, feel
free to send your ideas for discussion.
We'll need some help at the events with registration and other items
that pop up.

some decorations or centerpieces? Other ideas?
I have borrowed
signs with the old Grammar School and Jr. High School names for "School
Photos" Speaking of which, we could
use a "roving photographer" to take hundreds of candid photos of the
event. '67 had a non-classmate husband running amuck that did a great job!
If you are not on
Facebook, keep an eye on this page. We have not set the final fees, heck we
haven't had a meeting yet! I'll post a registration form here for download and
on Facebook with all information and the name and address to send it to.
I need to mention
that anyone that wants to join us at the reunion is welcome. Teachers, kids
that moved away or went to another school and didn't graduate with us as a
result, etc.... Welcome! Download the form and send it in. Make a note of your
situation so I won't search in vain in the yearbook for your photo. Perhaps
it's in the North or South Jr. High yearbooks??
